Let customers speak for us
from 53 reviewsSo my husband had a sleep apnea study done and although he ended up sleeping on his back, which never helps he stopped breathing 87 times throughout the night, which is considered moderate sleep apnea. We decided to try this first prior to taking him in for a CPAP machine or going to a dentist and paying anywhere from $600 to $900 out-of-pocket because Medicare does not pay for it. This worked great for him, but it did take a little getting used to. His teeth were a little sore at first, but we are about 2 weeks into it and we are both sleeping so much better. To us it was worth a try and worked for him. Going to get another one to have on hand
Best mouth piece out there. I have tried less expensive ones and those did not do the job as well as this one
Let's just say my nights went from performing an unintended tuba solo to something approaching quiet contemplation. My wife, the chief beneficiary, confirms that this little blue device seems to be genuinely helping control my snoring. I’ve only had it a few days, and the initial reaction was definitely "What is this foreign object doing in my mouth?" It felt weird and bulky at first, almost like sleeping with a custom-fit jaw trainer. However, the good news is that the adjustment period is surprisingly short; after just a few nights, it starts to feel much less intrusive. It’s certainly a small sacrifice to make for a full night of peaceful sleep—for both of us. It’s a comfortable, easy fix for a problem that was quickly becoming a serious domestic issue.

Started with the size one and moved up to this size 2! Works fantastic and easy to use, actually very comfortable and not too bulky to wear compared to other custom fit mouthpieces. Very durable, love the design as it has an opening when you close your teeth so you can still breathe through your mouth if you need to. Has stopped me from snoring completely while sleeping!

42 year old here who is a "progressing snorer." Progressing, as in: crept up slowly, and I didn't notice its impact on my sleep as it happened over 10-15 years.I love-hate this product. I love it because it works! My sleep improved dramatically! I am feeling energized and rested like I was when I was 20! And I am feeling rested even after 5-6 hours of sleep. Sometimes, I need to put myself back to sleep because I don't want to get up so early.I got used to the extra saliva within a few hours, but my mouth hurts terribly when using it.On the down side:It. HURTS.My lower-inner palate is sore throughout the day, and hurts to the touch when I try to use the product at night.I am actually surprised that the discomfort in my mouth is not affecting the quality of my sleep, that's why I continue to use it because I can endure the discomfort in my mouth - the payout is worth it!I wish there is a product that works but won't hurt as much.Would definitely recommend, if the fit is right for you. Or if you are able to tolerate the discomfort.
Wow, what an amazing device. It took me a few days to get used to it, but I’m sleeping so much better each night and so is my wife.My only complaint is that at some point while sleeping I managed to get the top behind my teeth and now I’ve got a big dent in the top part. I’m not too concerned about it since I’ve pre-ordered a Z advanced, but having to go a couple weeks with the top poking into my gums is a little less than desirable.
My husband says it works for me. Ha! He said he does not hear me snoring throughout the night anymore. My jaw is temporarily sore for a few minutes when I take it out though. It leaves an impression in my lips which is also sore for a few minutes when removed.
Wife immediately noticed a reduction in snoring. A little uncomfortable at first. Would recommend that you buy the stage 1 and then buy the stage 2 if needed. Stage 2 is more aggressive in pulling the lower jaw forward. This device uses your teeth for leverage, can make your teeth hurt because of this. If you have a heavy overbite the stage 2 is too much
Sorry for the long review…i just want to give ZQuiet the praise it deserves, since it’s Amazon ratings don’t do it a whole lot of justice. If you don’t want to read my review, fine. The title should be straightforward enough. “It actually works!”To be fair, I have struggled for a while to sleep with a mouth guard in (i have a super expensive, custom mouth guard made by my dentist after I had a tooth implant…it is not made to be an anti-snoring device…mainly just there to protect my tooth implant.) Even the custom, dentist-made mouth guard causes me so much tooth soreness and discomfort that i can hardly wear it…plus it does absolutely nothing for my snoring issue (it’s not it’s main purpose anyhow). My wife has had to deal with my snoring for a few years now, and it just keeps getting worse. Especially worsens with weight gain, but that’s a whole other issue that I am working on. With my snoring worsening, I really needed to find some sort of solution (especially for my wife’s sake).I will admit, I was kind of skeptical that an anti-snore mouth guard would even help at all. I first saw ads about ZQuiet on Facebook. But I never fully trust ads I see there so I ignored it. Then I also noticed the brand here on Amazon. However, the reviews/stars for ZQuiet kind of threw me off. There were other anti-snore mouth guards at a similar price point that appeared to be rated much higher on Amazon. So I tried one of the other brands (simply due to higher Amazon stars/ratings). I use an app called SnoreLab to try and track my results.Searching out and testing another mouth guard it was a really tough adjustment. After giving the other brands a few weeks of testing, I concluded that it just didn’t work for me (see screenshot of my results/journey). The other brands of snore guards made very little difference (check out my SnoreLab app results). So I searched for a different one. I kept seeing ZQuiet. I figured “why not?”. Even though the Amazon ratings aren’t as high as others for some reason, I decided to give ZQuiet a try.On my first night with ZQuiet, I spit it out. In fact, when I woke up in the morning, I found the ZQuiet next to my pillow (I must’ve spit it out of my mouth at some point during the night). Then I checked the SnoreLab results. For the first half of the night, my snoring was actually minimized significantly. In fact, from my screenshot, you can clearly see at what point I spit it out. It took about a week for me to successfully be able to wear ZQuiet throughout the night. As with all mouth guards I’ve tried, my teeth usually feel sore in the morning. But ZQuiet makes it worth it. I have gotten used to it and my tooth soreness has been disappearing (be patient!).I have added a few screenshots so that you can all see my results. I have added notes to the screenshots as well to describe what you are seeing. ZQuiet totally deserves a higher rating! Although I still have a snoring problem, ZQuiet helps significantly temper my snoring loudness so that my wife can finally get a peaceful night of rest! At this price point I would highly recommend ZQuiet! Nice thing about Amazon is that if it doesn’t work for you, just return it. What do you have to lose? (Gah, I sound like a freaking commercial haha)

So...I snore a bit, and because I'm a nice person and want my partner to get his beauty sleep at night, I started researching Mandibular Advancement Devices. Let's get one thing straight right now...they all suck. A MAD device is typically uncomfortable for the first 2 weeks, and ultimately, having to use one is the worst. HOWEVER! They WORK.I have tried the cheap ones, my advice is: love yourself more than that.I have tried the expensive ones. my advice: they work but are spendy.I had a lot of success with the Zyppha mouth piece, except it's expensive as heck and falls apart pretty quickly. You have to take an impression of your teeth, and I found it made my teeth ache badly, even after the 2 week adjustment period. Also, I would pop my teeth out in the night and grind them on the hard plastic rims...yikes.This mouth piece, however, is WORLDS better. It's a much softer plastic, but it holds up, so I can grind my teeth and not worry about damage to my teeth or the mouth piece. Secondly, it took almost no time to adjust. Now...I have used MADs before. The first time you start using a MAD, you will feel like it's the worst possible thing to ever happen to your mouth. I assure you, you'll adjust. The zQuiet took the least amount of effort to set up, it has the best results, and it is by far the most durable MAD I've used.I think people give MADs low ratings because the adjustment period is terrible. You do get past it, I promise.

I was tired of trying different inexpensive solutions to address my snoring. It was driving my wife crazy and I knew that I had to do something about it. There are so many products that it's confusing so I figured I would start at the higher end of things with a company that guaranteed results. If it worked, it would be worth every penny. If it didn't they would take it back. I looked at Z-Quiet and the Zyppah. I ultimately chose this since I did not have to deal with the fitting process. I downloaded the Snore Lab app and took measurements for 3 days prior to using the ZQuiet and my numbers were between 35 and 33. The first day of using the smaller size ZQuiet my number went down to 14...and then to 11 and finally 9! I have not tried the larger size, which will even bring it down more, since my wife is now happy with the result. I am much more refreshed in the morning as well. When I first used it I took a bit to get used to but now I don't even think about it. I bought the entire kit with the cleaner, 2-sizes and case. If you look at the pricing and think it's a lot of a couple of pieces of plastic you are correct, but it's the engineering and effectiveness that you are paying for. $100 to end my snoring and not have to sleep in another room is a fine value. I just wish that I did it earlier.

I prefer the ZQuiet design because it fits comfortably and discretely over the teeth without the hassle of boiling or molding.
