So my husband had a sleep apnea study done and although he ended up sleeping on his back, which never helps he stopped breathing 87 times throughout the night, which is considered moderate sleep apnea. We decided to try this first prior to taking him in for a CPAP machine or going to a dentist and paying anywhere from $600 to $900 out-of-pocket because Medicare does not pay for it. It was a bit challenging to get used to it, however after day 3, I began to put the item in a cup with warm water (from the faucet) just before bed and that did the trick. It provided the flexibility I needed to fit almost perfectly. The damn thing works ! I wake up rested and my wife LOVES IT !
